Born in 1812, his early years were tough. New siblings arriving, many house moves, and financial troubles were some problems
he had. His family moved to London in 1824 and worked in Warren's Blacking factory. At the age of 15, Charles went to work
as a solicitor's clerk.He met and fell in love with a woman named Catherine and they were married in 1835. While doing theatre,
Charles met Ellen Ternan who pushed him away from Catherine, but Charles and Ellen were in a train crash in 1865. On Wednesday
June 8th 1870, Charles collapsed at dinner and did not ragain conciosness. He died the next day.
